Superlatte is a woman-owned wellness brand founded in Cape Town, South Africa in 2017. We create natural superfood latte blends, including Organic Ceremonial Matcha, Turmeric Latte, Beetroot Latte, and Chai Latte, for customers seeking delicious alternatives to artificially flavoured drinks.

Founded in Cape Town in 2017 by Michelle Legge, Superlatte was built on a simple idea: healthy drinks should taste good, be easy to prepare, and contain ingredients people can recognise. No artificial flavours. No unnecessary fillers. Just carefully selected ingredients blended to create colourful, nourishing drinks that fit into everyday life.

Superlatte's roots are in hospitality.

Before our products appeared on retail shelves, they were being prepared and served in cafés. That experience continues to influence how we develop every blend.

From Cape Town to the world

Superlatte began in 2017 at Cape Town's Oranjezicht City Farm Market.

What started as a small market stall quickly developed a loyal following. Customers returned week after week and cafés began requesting the blends for their own menus.

In 2018, Superlatte launched its first retail products, allowing customers to recreate their favourite café drinks at home.

Since then, the brand has continued to grow while remaining independently owned. Superlatte has also been showcased internationally at events including the London Coffee Festival, Amsterdam Coffee Festival, and Natural & Organic Products Europe in London.

Each step has helped introduce more people to the ingredients, flavours, and rituals that inspired the brand from the beginning.

Meet the founder

Superlatte was founded by Michelle Legge in 2017.

After spending years managing endometriosis and exploring the relationship between nutrition, wellbeing, and daily habits, Michelle developed a deep interest in plant-based ingredients and functional foods. What began as personal curiosity eventually became a market stall, then a business, and ultimately a brand enjoyed by customers around the world.

Her approach remains simple: create products made with ingredients she would happily serve to family and friends.
